Multiple Values Found
The multiple values found validation is specific to when automation has been defined for a Field. If the defined automation extracts more than one value for a single Fieldโs Record, then determining which value to use for the export becomes ambiguous. Because only one value should be presented for a given single Record entry, only one value should be selected out of the multiple extracted potential values.
Note that the following Tools have the possibility of creating multiple values: Anchor, Text, and Cell Tools. When working with these tools, you have three options for resolving multiple values:
- Selection strategy can be used to automatically select one value from any values found
- The Tool in question can be defined to be more specific
- Multiple values can be manually resolved, as is detailed below
In the event an individual Record entry has multiple values, a validation error will indicate that the Field requires resolution and a button will replace the Field entry. Upon clicking this button, a list of all located values for the Record entry will appear, where you can select a singular value for use. If the Field has been declared to have a type, then the Values presented in the Multiple Reviews selection screen will be validated according to their respective Field Type.
Upon selecting a value and clicking on "Resolve", then that value will appear in that Field's Record entry and the multiple values validation error will clear. If a value was selected that had a Field Type validation error, the Field Type validation error will appear accordingly and can be resolved as defined in Field Type๏ปฟ.
